Chains

Chains are sold by three numbers and people usually remember only one. Width in millimetres decides how heavy the chain looks. Length in inches decides where it sits. The weave decides how it catches light. A 3 mm box chain and a 3 mm Figaro read completely differently on the same neck.

The HZMAN lineup runs from thin box chains that disappear under a collar to Cuban links you are meant to see. A wide chain is not automatically stronger: the weak point is the clasp, and on every chain we list the clasp is the part to check first.
